Hey Everybody!

Hey Everybody!

Favorite Funny Moments:
Just for the record, California has a freaking cockroach problem. ; ) Sister Trujillo and I were heading into the bathroom last p-day to change, but as Sister Trujillo walked in, she just screamed and ran back out. When we asked what was wrong, she told me and the Elders nearby that there were two roaches in there as long as her pinky finger. Which was actually true, not an exaggeration. But then the Elders just waltz right into the women's bathroom to get them out for her and they pick them up with their bare hands to throw them outside the building. It was so nasty, but we were so stunned that it was also pretty freaking hilarious. ; )

Also, Sister Trujillo and I have to make a ridiculous number of calls at night after 9 with us being over two zones now. We were doing calls on Friday and we only had one left, but when they didn't answer, we decided to just get ready and go to bed since it was like 10:10. I started washing my hair and Sister Trujillo went to brush her teeth when the freaking phone went off. ; ) She had a mouthful of toothpaste, so I had to answer the phone with my soaking wet hair hanging over the bathtub so we could finish the dang call. We have no time. ; )

Favorite Spiritual moment:
We got to take Emilio to the family history center to start working on his tree this week. While we were there, we told the family history consultant that he is getting baptized soon, and she just lit up. Her conversation changed from "this is how you add records and put people in" to "this is how you can be a missionary for your family who has already passed on so you can be with them forever." It was so cool, because the Spirit just flooded the room. There was so much light in this sweet lady's eyes as she talked about how he could start doing temple work once he's baptized. I am so grateful for the temple. I am so grateful for my family. And I am so grateful that God loves families too!

Other stuff:
Happy Mothers Day to my amazing Mom! She is the most amazing woman in the entire world. I am so lucky to have her.

Love you guys!
