Sometimes Mom forgets to post!

SORRY EVERYONE!  We were so excited to get letters this week, but also so busy that I forgot to post until today!  Here is the letter and pictures from Monday!

Hey everybody!

Favorite scripture/quote:
3 Nephi 28: 11 I love how this is just a simple testimony of the Godhead, and makes it clear the purposes of each member. It's just simple, but it stood out to me.
4 Nephi 1: 15-18 When we have contention, it drives away the Spirit. When we focus on Christ, it invites the Spirit. I want to make sure that I always am living in such a way to be able to have the Spirit with me.

Favorite spiritual experience:
Oh man, there were so many this week.
We had a lesson with Monse and her family this week just a couple of days before the baptism. It was so cool. We read Alma 32 with them, which was super cool because Monse's nonmember sister was there too and loved the imagery of it. But the coolest part of it was that Monse bore her testimony to her kids. It was so amazing. Every time we leave, we feel so spiritually fed, but this was even more incredible. I don't even remember what she said, but it was so powerful. I can tell that she is just so grateful to have this gospel in her life again, and it is so cool to hear her kids' testimonies too.

That brings me to another awesome highlight: Kelly, Sergio, and Mariah's baptism! They're Monse's three oldest kids, and they're so amazing. It was so cool to see how excited they were for it, and the were just so happy. These kids have seriously made a huge impact on my life.

Funny stuff:
We had ward correlation for YSA outside this week, and our assistant ward mission leader's bulldog slobbered All Over Sister Parker's dress. It was super gross, because the dog had been gnawing on a stick or something like that. She got it out, but it was just super funny too. We all laughed really hard.
Love you all!
Love,
Sister Garfield

Yay!!! Baptism!!
Left to right: Kelly, Sergio, and Mariah. They're so awesome. : )

(Ignore how awkward my face looks in this.) Hermana Vincent is going back to Puerto Rico, so this was our Sisters' lunch to say goodbye at their house
 last week.

Elder Noble got a Valentine (from his family) in the form of a puzzle. So of course, the whole zone wanted to help him to put it together. ; )

Exchange adventure! We happened to find a couch on the side of the road with a "free" sign, so Sister Moses decided she wanted to take it home.

Is it going to fit?

Haha nope. Not even close. ; )
