Hey everybody!

Sorry guys, I have to be fast this week! (Haha, when do I not have to be fast? ; )

Favorite Spiritual Moment:
There are a freaking ton of topics in the topical guide about Jesus Christ. Sister Reynolds and I had a lot of people this week trying to convince us that we don't believe in "the right" Jesus. Obviously we're firm in our testimonies and nothing those people can say will change that, but after that, we decided we wanted to learn more about Him. So we decided to pick one of the topics and read the scriptures listed under it. We read the ones under "Jesus Christ, relationships with the Father." And holy crap, we felt so much better afterwards. I am so grateful for the greater knowledge we have of our Savior and our Heavenly Father. Those are seriously some amazing scriptures when thinking about what we know about Them. If anyone is having a bad day or needs a spiritual boost, I would definitely recommend reading through the scriptures in one of those topics. It was seriously so cool.

Favorite Funny Moment: 
So, Knock Out is sometimes really long. I was exhausted and a little out of it when this happened.
When we knock on doors, we often ask "How are you?" because, well, it's a customary, polite thing to do. But we knocked on one this week where the guy who answered asked us that before we could ask him, and it threw me off a little bit. So, instead of responding with "good" or something like that, and also still being caught up on that original question, plus the prospect of saying "hi" in the first place (sorry if that sentence made no sense), I replied with great inflection and excitement "How?" As if I was an Indian in Peter Pan. ; ) Yeah. We don't think he took us seriously after that, especially since we were laughing so hard. ; )

Other stuff:
Small and simple things can bring people to the gospel! We met a lady this week who was first introduced to the church because of the Osmond family. She ordered their "family scripture kit" as a teenager before she had ever met with missionaries. Obviously other things played a role in her conversion, but she has now been a faithful, active member of the church for twenty years or more.

Hey everybody! With it being Fathers Day on Sunday, I just wanted to tell you all how grateful I am for my dad. He's really so amazing. He is such an amazing example to me, and I have learned so much from him. It is such a blessing to have such an amazing father in my life. I know that I am so blessed. Cool Scripture: One I liked from this week was 3 Nephi 18:10-12. It's about the sacrament and how important it is. I like how it mentions that if we always remember Him, we will have His Spirit to be with us. It just was cool to look at it that way. I don't know if I had ever realized that that was the reason behind it before. Spiritual stuff: We had a super awesome lesson with the Alfarros this week. Since we've picked them all up at different times, we wanted to review the Restoration again before the first few get baptized, but we wanted to do it a little differently than usual. Hey guys! Favorite quote/scripture: DC 64: 33-34. I don't have time to type it out, so go look it up. I like how it talks about this work. I want to give my whole soul to the Lord as I go about doing His work. This is important. I want to make sure that I give my all. Favorite funny moment: So this wasn't like a laugh out loud moment or anything, but more of just a cool thing. We had a two week training follow up for all of the trainees and their trainers last Tuesday. One of the missionaries that came in with Sister O'Bourke is from Thailand. I'm not even going to guess at how to spell her name. She's still learning English, but she's been doing really good. Now that it wasn't her first day, I introduced myself again. Normally when I tell people my name, if they say it back to me to make sure that it's right, I say something like "yep, like the cat." She sounded it out to make sure she was saying it right, and I told her she got ...

Hey everyone! I hope you all are doing well! Thank you for your prayers and your support; I am so grateful for all of you! Here's this week's favorites: Favorite Quote: Jacob 4: 11-12. This one is too long for me to take the time to type out, so you all have to go look it up. I came across this scripture during personal study the other day and seriously had this "have I ever read this before in my life" moment because it was so good. The line that I do really love that I will type out is "for why not speak of the atonement of Christ." The Atonement of Jesus Christ is the greatest gift anyone could ever give, and our Heavenly Father gave it to us because He love us more than we can even begin to comprehend. He sent His son, because He wants us to be able to return home to Him. We have this amazing, wonderful blessing of a gift in our lives, and we are blessed to know about it.
