So Many Blessings! :)

Happy Valentines Day!

Favorite miracles:
Abel, the guy from last week, called us! He wants to meet with us this week!
We also got to see Sister Howard and Sister Flinders at this Jewish family history event yesterday where Sisters Howard and Semenyuk were helping translate Russian documents. It was so cool to see the spirit of Elijah in these people who aren't even members. But it was also great to hear how well the Hollywood Ward is doing right now. There were so many tiny miracles that Sister Howard and I saw during my last week there that have turned into huge miracles now. What a blessing. : )

Favorite Spiritual Moment:
This week, we got to go to the temple after interviews. It was such a wonderful experience. I had prayed before the session to feel God's love and a confirmation that these things are true, and the Spirit just washed over me the whole time we were there. I hope that all of you have the opportunity to go to the temple very soon. I know that revelation is real, and the feelings of the Spirit come from God. They are such great blessings in our lives.

Favorite Funny Thing:
There was a lady this week in our ward who told us that her landlord is suddenly kicking her out with three days notice, "because she is a Mormon." Although the situation itself definitely isn't funny, Sister Semenyuk's response was. I had mentioned to that lady that she should look into like, renters laws because the landlord shouldn't be able to do that. Afterwards, Sister Semenyuk agreed with me, saying that this woman should have been given more notice. I said yes, but pointed out that in America, we're not supposed to discriminate against people's religions, and she just said, "Oh yeah. I forget that here, you have laws, and freedom." I mean, it totally makes sense because of where she's from, but it caught me completely off guard.

Other stuff:
Sister Semenyuk and I got to take a young woman, Aleyda, on a mini mission on Saturday. It was super cool to get to work with her! She had such a strong testimony, and it was cool to see how she grew even with just one day of being a missionary. I really hope that she decides to serve a mission.

The Lord blesses us in so many ways. It's amazing to see His hand in  our lives.
Love,
