Hey all! This week has been amazing but crazy. Holy crap, I can't even believe that I'm almost through with my time here at the MTC. So.... I left my notes for what I wanted to write this week in our room (ha). This may be a little scatter-brained and short as a result. Favorite Spiritual Moments: For our Tuesday devotional, we got to hear from Elder Craig C. Christensen (of the seventy) and his wife. His wife talked a lot about how we should always want to be on the Lord's side. It was pretty cool to think about, especially since, as missionaries, we're pretty much the Lord's army right now. Elder Christensen had some awesome quotes too that I wrote down a little more exactly...but I forgot my list. ; ) We get to do something called TRC at the MTC now. I'm not sure exactly what it stands for, but that's when we get to teach our investigators. The MTC invites people from around here who are interested in the church to come to the MTC to lear...

October 26th, 2017 Hi everyone!! This may have been the craziest week of my life, but it's been so great! With these big emails to everyone, I think I'm going to talk about a few favorites from the week, just because there's so much that there's no way I can talk about everything. We'll see how this goes. Favorite Quotes/Scriptures: "God doesn't call the qualified; He qualifies the called." This was said in one of our very first meetings after getting here, by an Elder in the crowd. I think it's so cool. After having experienced this first week, I know that I am definitely NOT qualified to do this. But with God's help, I can do all that He asks of me. "God doesn't call kings and queens. He calls displaced princes, and servant girls. Farm boys and fishermen. You are enough." This was from Sister Porter, the wife of one of the counselors in our branch presidency. She's awesome.
